alsaequal exposes a LADSPA-based equalizer through regular ALSA PCM and control devices, so applications can use system-wide equalization without knowing anything about LADSPA themselves.
The Freetz-EVO package ships the ALSA bridge modules and selects the CAPS LADSPA library by default, so the Eq10 module is available out of the box. A different compatible LADSPA equalizer plugin can still be configured at runtime if desired.
