Streamripper 1.64.6 - DEPRECATED⚓︎

Streamripper
is free, platform-independent software for
"ripping"
(saving) streams, for example
SHOUTcast-,
Icecast-
and other
internet radio broadcasts.

Streamripper itself has no graphical interface and is operated from the
command line. This minimizes resource usage, and there is no need to
watch colorful graphics while recording. Anyone who still prefers a bit
of point-and-click can find one or another graphical
FrontEnd
(for example on the project's
homepage), although not exactly
for the FritzBox.

Streamripper records the formats
MP3
and OGG
Vorbis
, saving metadata such as ID3
tags as well. It cannot play the stream itself, but it can forward it
directly to a streaming-capable player.
